  The Radio Star National Talent Search is excited to announce the finalists of this year's cross-Canada talent competition. Presented by Astral Radio in association with Canadian Music Week, the contest welcomed song submissions from emerging artists across 10 participating markets with a mission of discovering potential future stars at a regional, grassroots level and showcasing them to the music industry and general public alike. From the hundreds of songs entered, the following artists and songs have come out on top, representing their respective stations:
To find out more about each finalist, and hear their winning song, the public is invited to visit www.radiostar.ca, where voting is now open and will continue through to February 22nd. A combination of public and industry voting - comprised of seasoned songwriters, publishers, and producers - will determine the grand prize winner and runner-up. The sixth annual CMW Film Fest takes its residence at the TIFF Bell Lightbox, Reitman Square (350 King Street West) for three days - March 21 - 23, 2013 - during Toronto's celebrated entertainment festival and conference, Canadian Music Week.
