The New York Post reports that Joe Germanotta pockets half of his pop star daughter’s paychecks under their LLCs, Team Love Child and Mermaid Music.

Joe Germanotta is often mentioned adoringly in interviews. "I'm married to my dad," the singer told Elle last year. Later, she revealed to Vanity Fair, "I'm happier than I've ever been. I've been in my father's arms for two weeks, wishing [him] a Happy Father's Day."
And despite her deep pockets, 25-year-old Gaga hasn’t purchased a place in NYC – she prefers to stay with her parents on the Upper East Side.
As for her father’s financial compensation, experts say that Joe’s 50 percent take is unusual. “Certainly no artist entering a management deal does anything close to that — a commission is usually 15 to 20 percent,” entertainment lawyer Josh Grier tell the Post.
Lady Gaga’s ABC variety special, “A Very Gaga Thanksgiving,” airs Thursday night. She’ll reportedly be home with mom and dad when it comes on. Then again, it is Thanksgiving.
