Soon after saying, "I do," the E! reality star, 31, and her NBA athlete husband, 28, faced tabloid reports that their marriage was already strained. Kardashian herself now admits that the couple's living situation in New York City was a source of stress.
"It's not ideal because you're newlyweds and you want privacy," she recently told, explaining the challenges of living with her new husband and sister Kourtney, her boyfriend Scott Disick and their son Mason while they filmed the second season of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York."
But Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner, who says the duo is going "two separate directions [with work]," says she's confident that "they'll figure it out as soon as they get back [to L.A.]."

Kris, 56, reportedly details her affair in “Kris Jenner and All Things Kardashian”: "His name was Ryan, and he was a producer. We had wild sex everywhere, all the time."
The reality matriarch writes that ex-husband Robert “had been the only man in my life since I was 18...I don't know why I was having a mid-life crisis at 30, but I was.”
Jenner also reveals that the indiscretion resulted in divorce.
"When you're very young you do a lot of stupid things,” the mom of six told Jay Leno on “The Tonight Show” Tuesday.
“It's probably the biggest regret of my life that I ended up having an affair," she said. "[I was] probably just really naive and stupid and restless and didn't realize that marriage has its ups and downs."
After divorcing Kris, Robert went on to defend O.J. Simpson in his 1995 murder trial. Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Robert Jr.’s dad passed away of cancer in 2003.
Married to Bruce Jenner for 20 years, Kris says she’s now old enough to know better about marriage. "Someone once told me that it's like a roller-coaster, just ride it out," she said to Leno. "But I wasn't really old enough to hear those words."
