Following a crushing win over Mariana Duque-Marino yesterday, Laura Robson will attempt to reach the fourth round of the women's singles for the first time when she is scheduled to face Marina Erakovic as the second scheduled match on Court 2.
The 19-year-old had previously been on Centre Court, but the central attraction on Saturday will be top seed Novak Djokovic when he faces Jeremy Chardy in the last scheduled match for the day.
Reigning women's champion Serena Williams is also set to see out the day on Court 1 as her match due on fourth will be against 42-year-old Kimiko Date-Krumm.

MEN'S SINGLES WOMEN'S SINGLES4.18pm GAME, SET AND MATCH On Centre Court, Bernard Tomic has progressed and continued a good day for Australian sport following that rugby win this morning. He defeated Richard Gasquet 7-6 (9-7), 5-7, 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) to reach the fourth round. Here's Mark Ryan's first take on that:
'Bernard Tomic restored some family pride with a thrilling victory in the Centre Court sunshine.
'His father John was banned from the All England Club because he faces an assault charge for allegedly head-butting one of Bernard's training partners in a row over payment.
'Earlier in the day Bernard's sister Sara had been thrashed 6-1, 6-0 by Estonian Anett Kontaveit in the girls' singles tournament.

'But Bernard Tomic showed the patience and maturity to undo the careless Frenchman Richard Gasquet when it mattered.
'And one of the key moments came in a nail-biter of a first set tie-break, which Tomic eventually edged 9-7.
'The final set was also a tie-break and Tomic set up victory with a beautiful pass down the line.
Gasquet gamely repelled two match points but Tomic closed out the breaker 7-5 and the contest to great cheers.'

4.13pm A quite extraordinary comeback by Laura Robson to reach the fourth round then and she will play either Kaia Kanepi or Alison Riske next. Here's the photograph you'll be seeing on the sports pages tomorrow:
4.07pm Mark Ryan has sent through some additional reaction from earlier on: 'Former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova defeated Russian Ekaterina Makarova 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 earlier and said - 'I was really on fire.'
'Hailed as the next superstar when she took the women's title two years ago, Czech Kvitova hasn't quite lived up to the billing.
'I dropped off a little bit, it's always a bit up and down, but I hope it will be more up than down now. I like to play on grass and I have nice memories from 2011.'
'She saw off Makarova in no uncertain terms after the weather-delayed match resumed today in the final set.

'I played quite aggressively and that was the key,' she said.

4.05pm Robson tells the BBC: 'I was getting my butt kicked basically. I was struggling to return her serve. I had to work as hard as possible and just stick with it. The crowd was amazing, I couldn't have done it without them.'

4.03pm UPDATE On Court One, where Tomas Berdych has won the third set 6-4 to lead Kevin Anderson by two sets to one.

4.01pm Now then. A few jitters on the Robson serve here and Erakovic takes the first two points. But Robson brings it back with an improbable shot on the stretch that her opponent can only fluff at for 30-30. MATCH POINT comes up for a second time after a brutal second serve... Wonderful forehand winner and LAURA ROBSON WINS!
3.55pm A situation we wouldn't have foreseen an hour ago, but Erakovic is serving to stay in the match here. A fantastic Robson return off the first serve for 15-0 and then an untimely double fault (number eight of the match). And then Robson plays arguably her best shot of the tournament so far for a MATCH POINT. Not taken - though few could have returned that serve. Important Robson challenge shows her return just wide and Erakovic has made her at least serve for victory. 1-6, 7-5, 5-3
3.53pm UPDATE from Court Three where the number four seed in the women's draw, Agnieszka Radwanska, has won the first set against American Madison Keys 7-5.
3.51pm Robson needing to re-group a bit and it won't help that Erakovic has just send down her best backhand of the match. Great shot from deep by Robson to make it 40-30 and the crowd react in warm appreciation. Erakovic then fires wide and Robson is one game away from victory. 1-6, 7-5, 5-2
3.48pm Now then, we could be in for a dangerous few minutes if Erakovic comes out swinging. Back on serve, she's forcing Robson into a full-on sprint here to stay in the points. Signs that the serve is back to full power and Erakovic easily takes that one. 1-6, 7-5, 4-2

3.44pm You get the impression Erakovic doesn't have much left as she gazes forlornly up to her camp in the stands. However, she fires down a superb forehand into the corner to remind everyone she's still here. Then another brings up a break point and the New Zealander gives a defiant roar. That's a magnificently-timed shot by Robson down the line and then she puts away a mis-judged drop, but it's not enough as Erakovic comes back to win the game and stop the rot. 1-6, 7-5, 4-1

3.37pm Everything going Laura's way now and the crowd fervently behind her. She quickly wins the first two points in this game and there's a clenched fist as she gets a break point. It's taken. 1-6, 7-5, 4-0
3.35pm UPDATE from Centre Court, where Bernard Tomic has taken the third set 7-5 against Richard Gasquet and now leads 2-1.
3.31pm Looking very bright for Robson... but she then goes and concedes the first three points on serve. It includes a second double fault of the match. Robson saves two and then Erakovic challenges a serve - wrongly - and it's deuce. Splendid execution and Robson on the two pivotal points and she holds! 1-6, 7-5, 3-0.

3.27pm A test of Erakovic's mental strength at the moment and whether her serve can hold out. A little crack again as she double faults for the fifth time in the match to bring Robson back into the game at 30-30. Then she over-hits and, suddenly, Robson has a break point.She replies emphatically with another ace, her 10th of the afternoon, but immediately cedes the initiative again by slicing one wide. Robson gets the break - a sixth game in succession! 1-6, 7-5, 2-0
3.25pm THIRD SET Robson to get us underway in the final set and the confidence looks to be really flowing. A wildly mishit forehand by Erakovic brings up a chance to win the game and Robson takes full advantage. 1-6, 7-5, 1-0 (Robson score first)
3.22pm GAME, SET AND MATCH After an epic three-and-a-half-hours, Jamie Murray and his partner John Peers have succumbed to James Blake and Jurgen Melzer by a scoreline of 6-3, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 12-14.

3.20pm Wow, didn't see that coming! Laura Robson hung in there and the pressure really got to her opponent at the end of that second set. Who has the momentum entering the third set - you have to fancy it's with the Brit.
3.18pm Robson has dragged herself back into this match through sheer willpower but what now? She finds a nice angle to return the serve at 15-30 and again for 30-30. Is the momentum with her now? And what a time for Erakovic to double fault! Set point for Robson, who is showing no fear now. It ends in a challenge and Robson's judgement is proved correct by literally two millimetres. Erakovic then double faults again and ROBSON WINS THE SECOND SET 7-5!
3.15pm GAME, SET AND MATCH Roberta Vinci is through to the last 32 after a 6-1, 6-4 win over Dominika Cibulkova.
3.14pm The crowd truly engrossed now as Robson steps up to serve and get ahead in this match for the first time. Another example of the Erakovic forehand from the corner but Robson finds a third ace at the perfect moment before reaching a testing drop shot to flick the ball over the net. Pressure switching now. 1-6, 6-5
3.11pm Tomas Berdych was obviously invigorated by that injury stoppage on Court One - he won the second set 6-3 to level with Kevin Anderson at one-set all.
3.10pm Ok, all the pressure now on Marina Erakovic for the first time as she serves to win the match. Robson determined to make a game of it, a powerful double-hander drawing the appreciation of the crowd at 30-15. A double fault from Erakovic is a surefire sign the pressure is mounting but Robson hits too long to waste one of the break points. She takes the second one and we have a contest again! 3.06pm GAME, SET AND MATCH Juan Monaco,the 22nd seed, has been knocked out by the Frenchman Kenny de Schepper 4-6, 6-7 (8-10), 4-6. De Schepper will play Fernando Verdasco in the last 32.
3.05pm What has Laura Robson got left? Well, a very nice ace and useful depth on the forehand to reach 30-0. Robson gets the benefit of a hawkeye review and holds on to force Erakovic to at least serve for her place in the next round. 1-6, 4-5
3.02pm Robson may be strong on her forehand, but her opponent is equally talented and finds the corner once again immaculately on the first couple of points. Another couple of aces and Erakovic is on the brink of victory. 1-6, 3-5
3pm GAME, SET AND MATCH Andreas Seppi of Italy has made it into the fourth round for the first time, eliminating 12th seed Kei Nishikori of Japan 3-6, 6-2, 6-7 (4-7), 6-1, 6-4. He will play the winner of the match between Grega Zemlja and Juan Martin Del Potro.

2.58pm Robson needed a quick service game and she's got it to keep in touch at 1-6, 3-4
2.56pm UPDATE from Centre Court where Richard Gasquet took the second set 7-5 against Bernard Tomic to level the match at one set all.
2.53pm Can Erakovic hammer home this advantage? Robson still being encouraged every step of the way by the crowd and there are signs that she's really going for it. A very fine cross-court forehand for 30-15 and then a break point comes along as Erakovic slips during the rally. These are Robson's first break points of the match, though one is swiftly removed by Erakovic's sixth ace of the match and the other cancelled out with a searing forehand. Another fantastic ace is followed by an unreturnable serve and Laura's glimmer of hope is quickly closed off. 1-6, 2-4.

2.50pm Painful moment for Tomas Berdych, who has called for the tournament doctor to attend to him on Court One. Looks like a shoulder problem. He lost the first set to South African Kevin Anderson 6-3, but is leading in the second 3-2 if he returns to action.
2.47pm That Erakovic strength from the back court starting to show as she brings about the first break point of the set. Robson hits awfully wide and now trails again. 1-6, 2-3
2.45pm BRIT WATCH Well played Dominic Inglot and his Doubles partner Treat Huey, who have beaten Begemann and Emmrich 6-3, 6-7 (2-7), 7-5, 7-6 (7-3)
2.43pm Robson desperately needs a strategy to counter this Erakovic serve - that's a fifth ace of the match. An easy hold and some quite negative body language by Robson at the end. 1-6, 2-2
Meanwhile, Alex Kay has been distracted: 'Bit of a mess in that first set from Laura Robson... And in the stands too. Someone has been sick and it's being cleaned by stewards as we speak.'
2.41pm UPDATE Still going strong in Jamie Murray's match - it's now 8-8 in the fifth set and real thriller.
2.40pm It's time for Erakovic to have a little slip - it always seems to end up looking like the players are doing the splits on this court! Laura's serve looking more solid and she holds to love. Much better now. 1-6, 2-1
2.37pm The Erakovic serve is still dominant and there's a challenge on the point for 40-15 which cancels out Robson's good fortune from the previous game. Another over-hit return from the back on the second serve and we're all square in this second set. 1-6, 1-1

2.34pm SECOND SET That's a bit more like it, Laura! The crowd starting to warm to the occasion as Robson, on serve, starts to thunder down the kind of shots we have seen so far in this tournament. A little bit of good fortune with the net on the deciding point but she won't care and it's first game to the British teenager. 1-6, 1-0 (Robson score first)
2.32pm GAME, SET AND MATCH Nick Harris updates us: 'Sloane 'Future of American tennis' Stephens, 20, has just bagged herself a place in the fourth round by hitting her stride, finally, to see off Petra Cetkovska, 7-6, 0-6, 6-4. Next up here on Court 3, Madison 'Future of American tennis' Keys, 18, takes on world No4 Agnieszka Radwanska.'

2.30pm A real epic unfolding out on Court 19, where Jamie Murray and his doubles partner John Peers are involved in five-set humdinger with James Blake and Jurgen Melzer. It's currently 7-6 to the American and the Austrian in the fifth set but the Brit and the Aussie are on serve.
2.27pm Erakovic serving for the set and on the evidence so far, she should achieve it. However, just in time, a nice bit of footwork and shot for 15-0. Not so good later in the game as a misjudged dropshot is returned with interest and Erakovic has set point after only 22 minutes of play. A forehand thrash and that's the FIRST SET TO ERAKOVIC 6-1.
2.25pm Must-win service game for Robson, but there are visible signs of frustration as her forehand lets her down at 15-30. Some shouts of encouragement from the stands. She then misses a passing shot down the line and Erakovic has two break points. She needs only one and there is silence at the end. 1-5
2.23pm The quickest serve of the match so far at 110mph by Erakovic and Robson isn't comfortable at all on either the first or second serves as Erakovic takes another game to love. Somehow, Robson needs to slow the pace of this match down, as her opponent is rattling through these service games in a minute or less. 1-4.

2.20pm A release of all the pent-up tension among the British fans on Court Two as Robson starts to bring that powerful forehand action to the match for the first time in the fourth game. The crowd is growing all the time with plenty queuing outside as well. And Robson finally gets started at 1-3.
2.16pm FIRST SET on Centre Court goes to Bernard Tomic, who took the tie-break against Richard Gasquet 9-7.
Mark Ryan with a very pertinent observation: 'Epic tie-break on Centre Court, won 9-7 by Aussie Bernard Tomic to the delight of the crowd.
But the All England Club should explain why well over 100 seats were empty above and around the Royal Box, where the members sit.
If the members aren't prepared to attend an entertaining match on Centre Court in summer sunshine, shouldn't they at least make sure true fans can have those seats instead?'

2.15pm A little query (with a smile) by Robson as an Erakovic serve lands on the borderline between 'in' and 'out'. It doesn't fall in her favour and, with a first ace, her confident opponent extends her advantage to three games. 0-3.
2.12pm It's been a little bit of a nervous start for Laura Robson and it took until half-way through this second game for her to place enough trust in those powerful groundstrokes and get on the board. Then, worryingly, a slip on the grass. This is the so-called 'Court of Death' remember that put paid to Sharapova's and Azarenka's hopes the other day. The fall brings about two break points and Erakovic needs only one. 0-2.
2.10pm It was a washout for the United States in the men's draw, but there's still plenty of hope in the women's competition, as Nick Harris reports: 'Out on Court No3 watching Sloane Stephens (aka the latest 'future of American tennis') as she resumes her match with Petra Cetkovska, delayed by rain on Friday at one set apiece.
'Stephens had lost the second set 6-0 and lost the first two games today for eight games lost in a row. She broke for 2-1 in the third to stop the rot but has just been broken again for 3-1.
'Then broken back for 3-2. Topsy turvy. Not great to watch, to be honest. But lovely weather out here, so can't complain.'
2.08pm LAURA ROBSON is underway on Court Two, with her opponent Erakovic serving first and taking the first game. This smaller arena may actually feel a little weird for the British player, having shone on Centre yesterday. 0-1 (Robson score first)
2.05pm TIE-BREAKER An exciting first set on centre between Richard Gasquet and Bernard Tomic, which has gone all the way. Gasquet did have a set point, but the Aussie managed to salvage it.

2pm Laura Robson is out on Court Two for her match with Marina Erakovic, one we'll be following with game-by-game coverage.
19-year-old Robson has cruised through to the third round with wins over Maria Kirilenko and Mariana Duque-Marino and now faces Croatian-born New Zealander Erakovic, who is ranked 71st in the world.
This run to the third round equals her best Wimbledon performance in singles events, though she has previously reached the semi-finals in the Doubles.
1.57pm GAME, SET AND MATCH And Jamie Delgado's Wimbledon run is over after he and partner Matthew Ebden were beaten in straight sets 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 by Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek.
1.53pm Mark Ryan with an update from Centre Court: 'Just TWO Aussie fans are trying to get the whole of Centre Court on the side of Bernard Tomic with a series of chants between games. The funny thing is, they seem to be succeeding! The match with Gasquet? That's 4-5 to Richard Gasquet first set - but going with serve..'
1.51pm GAME, SET AND MATCH Peter Higgs beat me to it... 'We know who Andy Murray will play in the fourth round. It’s Mikhail Youzhny, the 20th seed from Russia, who beat Viktor Troicki from Serbia in three straight sets 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 on Court Two.'
That's the seventh time the Russian has made the last 16 at Wimbledon. Next up on that court is Laura Robson.

1.45pm DOUBLES DELIGHT as Colin Fleming and Jonathan Marray defeat Frantisek Cermak and Michael Mertinak 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 to make the third round.
1.42pm BRIT WATCH Colin Fleming and Jonathan Marray are into a third set tie-breaker in their match, which is certainly keeping the crowds entertained.
Jamie Delgado and Matthew Ebden have work to do, as they currently trail by two sets and 4-1 in the third against Radek Stepanek and Leander Paes.
1.38pm GAME, SET AND MATCH Fernando Verdasco is into the fourth round after beating Ernests Gulbis of Latvia in straight sets 6-2, 6-4, 6-4. He will play either Juan Monaco or Kenny de Schepper next and then potentially Andy Murray in the last eight.

1.30pm We finally got going on Centre Court at 1.27pm! Meanwhile on Court One, the unfinished business from last night has been cleared up - Petra Kvitova, the number eight seed, was struggling overnight but she's come out with all guns blazing today and seen off Ekaterina Makarova 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. Next up is Tomas Berdych against Kevin Anderson of South Africa.
1.28pm Let's check in with Fleming and Marray out on Court 16 - they're already two sets up against Frantisek Cermak and Michael Mertinak and the third set is currently on serve at 5-5.
Jamie Murray, meanwhile, has a bit of work to do in his match, trailing 2-1 in sets to James Blake and Jurgen Melzer.

1.20pm Wimbledon truly is the hottest ticket in town, as Nick Harris reports: 'Celeb ticket request update: the AEC get deluged with requests for seats and passes. This morning they were informed that next week Kamerion Wimbley will be in London and that he'd like to come and see the tennis, preferably a Serena Williams match.
'For those readers not wholly up to speed with your NFL, Wimbley is a defensive end with the Tennessee Titans, where he has a five-year contract worth $35 million.
'The AEC told him, as they tell everyone: sorry, we don't do freebies. I expect he'll manage to get a hospitality seat, or even a freebie straight from Serena if he asks. Like all players, she has a small allocation per match for family and friends, over and above those seats in the players' box.'

1.16pm Mark Ryan is on Centre Court: 'Andy Murray received a standing ovation on Centre Court - and he didn't even hit a shot.
'Murray emerged in the Royal Box dressed in a sharp dark suit to received warm applause in recognition of his Olympic triumph at the same venue last summer.
'But the standing ovation afforded Murray was perhaps even surpassed by the applause reserved for the Armed Forces on their special annual day.
'Sir Chris Hoy and the Olympic cyclists were most enthusiastically received among the 38 Olympians and Paralympians introduced to the Centre Court crowd in warm sunshine.'

1.15pm The first engagement on Centre is Richard Gasquet against Bernard Tomic, while over on Court One there's some unfinished business. Petra Kvitova has come back from 2-1 down in the deciding set of her third round match with Makarova and currently leads 3-2. Winner-takes-all in that set.
1.13pm BRIT WATCH with Peter Higgs: 'Not a good day for British juniors as Katy Dunne, our top girl and the No.7 seed, and Cameron Norrie in the boys section both go out in the first round.'
1.10pm And the most popular gold medallist at SW19 takes his seat... it's Andy Murray.
1.06pm Rapturous applause around Centre Court as all the Olympic and Paralympic stars in the Royal Box are introduced one-by-one, starting with the boxer Anthony Joshua. The biggest cheers definitely reserved for the cyclists though and especially Sir Chris Hoy.
1.02pm The action is about to get underway on Centre Court. Well, it will eventually, as Mark Ryan reports: 'Anyone who was expecting a 1pm start on Centre Court could forget it. Sue Barker has just told us we will be 'on BBC TV' shortly for the pre-match Royal Box introductions...never mind the tennis. But she only began speaking at 1.01pm...'
12.58pm The other British interest comes on Court 10, where Dominic Inglot and his Filipino partner Treat Huey won the first set against Andre Begemann and Martin Emmrich 6-4.

12.53pm UPDATE On Court Two, Mikhail Youzhny now leads by two sets against Victor Troicki. Remember that Laura Robson is due on that court next, so the way things are going, we could see her before 2pm. On Three, Fernando Verdasco has a similarly strong hold on his match with Ernests Gulbis, leading 6-2, 6-4.
12.40pm Things are progressing quickly on Court 19, where James Blake and Jurgen Melzer stole the last three games of the second set to win it 6-3 and level up their match with Jamie Murray and John Peers.

'And John's mood will not have been improved by the fact that his daughter Sara was "thumped" 6-1, 6-0 by Estonian Anett Kontaveit this morning in the Junior Singles on Court 15.

12.11pm UPDATE Mikhail Youzhny has wrapped up the first set 6-3 in his third round match with Victor Troicki on Court Two, while Fernando Verdasco is serving for the first set on Court Three against Ernests Gulbis.
12.05pm CELEBRITY WATCH Mark Ryan of the Mail on Sunday reports that in total, there will be 38 London Olympic and Paralympic gold medallists in the Royal Box today - simply amazing. Cycling star Laura Trott and Paralympic dressage rider Natasha Baker can also be added to the list of London 2012 heroes watching on today.
11.56am And there's yet more British interest on Court 19, where Jamie Murray's doubles match is taking place. Nick Harris reports: 'The crowds are out in force for Murray. Jamie Murray that is. In doubles action on court No19. It's rammed.'
Murray has teamed up with Australia's John Peers and today's first round encounter is with James Blake of the USA and Jurgen Melzer of Austria. It's currently on serve, 2-2 in the opening set.
11.53am Lightning start from Mikhail Youzhny on Court Two - the number 20 seed from Russia has raced into a 3-0 first set lead against Victor Troicki.

11.46am Peter Higgs has a little bit more on the retirement of Jamie Baker, who admitted that his day-to-day enjoyment of the sport had weakened over the last six months.
Baker also said he was planning a future away from tennis, and he hopes to work in the financial sector.
He said: 'Whatever I go into now will be so new, so fresh. At the moment it's mainly excitement but I watch the news, I watch stuff about the economy, and I know how hard it is to get a job.
'I'm under no illusions about how difficult it's going to be.
'With the attitude I have, if I apply myself into that area the same way I have in my tennis career I'll be okay.'

11.33am Those Wimbledon fans wanting to watch the British and Irish Lions in the second test with Australia today will be disappointed, writes Nick Harris:
'The All England Club are famously tennis-focused, which perhaps isn't a surprise when they stage a tennis tournament. But it means that when other major sporting events clash with what's happening within the grounds, that other action - a World Cup game, a Euros match, or today, a Lions Test - is notable only by its absence.
'There's no Lions on the big screen and no Lions in any bar or restaurant, because there is no Sky TV anywhere on the premises.

11.28am BREAKING NEWS from Alex Kay: 'Bit of British news for you. Jamie Baker, the long-time British No 2 but now the British No 7, has announced his retirement. Baker was very talented player whose career was thwarted by an illness called Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. It put him in intensive care but he fought back to qualify for two Australian Opens. The Scot is just 26 years old.'
